Mario Kart 8 has the charm of Wii and the features of 7 blended into one game, and it's all the better for it. Including the DLC MK8 has a phenomenal course list with the best remakes in the series by far. The lacklustre use of the GamePad and bloated character roster bring my score for this down, but it is clear to me that this is a special game.
Anti gravity racer? Yeah that's cool. I don't know why they didn't have battle mode which is unfortunate. Though as a continuation to 7's kart customization this is amazing. Also, this is the best looking Mario Kart game to date. Maybe even the best Mario looking game period? Not sure on that however.
