I still own this one. Played it a lot as a kid with my siblings. A reminder of better times.

About as basic as Namco Museum gets. No extras, no fancy menus, nothing. You get your games, there's a few unlockables, that's it, and I think there's a certain appeal to that. All the games look and play great, it works exactly how you'd want it to, but the lack of any extra content makes it hard to recommend over other Namco Museums

As far as game compilations go, hell as far as Namco Museums go, you could probably do better. But... damn it, this game means everything to me. It's the most meaningful game I own, and out of all the retro games in my collection it's easily the one I have the most fun going back to every time. The lineup is so solid, each game is engraved into my brain. The arrangement games, oh my GOD the arrangement games don't get enough credit. I've done separate reviews for all three of them before, but yeah they're absolute peak, and the highlight of the collection. They're a big reason why this is my favorite Namco Museum, because this is the only one that has them, and they're just so fun. Pac-Man Arrangement is more well-known and you can play it in Pac-Man Museum+, which is nice, but I think Galaga and Dig Dug Arrangement are worth playing as well and deserve some more recognition. I also hope Bandai Namco eventually releases the other arrangement games that weren't included here, so I can finally have an excuse to play them. But couple the arrangement inclusions with the fact that this is one of the first video games I ever played, and was my first exposure to all these timeless classics like Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug and Pole Position, and how could I not love it? This is my personal recommendation for a Namco Museum game or arcade game compilation because of the rock solid lineup of games, and the inclusion of the arrangement games. I know it's not perfect, but to me, it might as well be.

love these classic arcade games :-)

Probably my favourite arcade compilation DVD, I remember playing this for hours
