A surprisingly compelling story with one of my favorite casts I've seen from this series in a while. Puzzles are solid but I have to knock a few points for how unevenly the content felt spread throughout areas (you'll spend like half the game getting lost in mazes), and the way to trigger events felt a little forced (having to open items again that you've already seen just to get Nancy to comment on them to advance the plot).

I think the environmental storytelling here was really solid. They never go in depth into Renate's backstory or what the deal was with the missing girls, but you can pick up enough pieces to understand the whole picture and given the target audience of the game, it's understandable that they didn't go into too much depth with it.

the vibes were immaculate, but i hated the forest, and the dungeon. i just felt lost. also, i hate when the bad dguy is my fav character

Fun the first playthrough. Don't know why but I never feel like coming back to this one. Maybe because I think about having to play the boardgame and I really don't want to.
