je suce evangelion, ma review est biaisé de batard.

Made Gunparade Orchestra look like a work of art. Having to constantly raise the AT meter with conversations to keep it at the suggested value was mind-numbing enough I'm just going to drop this one. Maybe if you're an Eva fan it's worth it, but I am not.

Is this a game? No, it's a simulator.
The most unique aspect of this game is the AI.
We've already done this with Gunparade March, where we put AI on NPCs to drive them...
Evangelion 2 is equipped with a unique AI that observes the player's actions and decides how the game will unfold.
The name is "Anno AI".
Yes, the game contains an AI based on Anno Hideaki himself.
I can't believe they let the original author be the so-called "game master" of TRPGs and the like! And AI!

If you're an Evangelion fan, it's worth playing. It's a very strange game, lol.
If you want to play it now, choose the PSP version, it's much easier to play than the PS2 version.

Postscript
The new film version was completed 2021 and I wasn't surprised at all by the ending. Because I knew the Anno AI of this game. (Oh, one thing I regret is that it was inexplicably boring as a "moving animation", which is essentially a characteristic of animation, aside from the clichéd story.)
There is "nothing special" about his inner world. All he has is his love for "special effects and animation". And the tragic thing is that he had an unparalleled talent in his ability to imitate the expressions of conventional products, unrivaled by other animators.
To add to that, the fact that such an anime became such a huge hit that it became a social phenomenon was a tragedy in itself.
