Gameplay - 5/5
It's a fun Slay the Spire clone. It has enough unique features to distinguish itself.
Graphics - 4/5
Scantily clad 3D models. Pretty decent all around.
Audio - 2/5
Battle sounds and some music. I played most of the game on mute, the audio was abrasive.

A very close replica of Slay the Spire, NEOVERSE is intended to be a card game with an Asian sci-fi aesthetic. As such, the game is very inelegant, not to mention the silly hypersexualisation of the characters. Nonetheless, the game system makes some sense and is quite rewarding. Unlike its counterpart, it feels more accessible thanks to powerful skills that can be acquired during the game. Basically, a fan of the genre will not be disoriented, as it is a question of applying strategies already seen: it will be necessary to specialise in a type of attack and to find the right number of cards in order to have a suitable rotation of the deck. Deck construction is rather pleasant and the multiple upgrade possibilities make the task easier. Finally, it is difficult to find what to say about NEOVERSE in its gameplay, as it draws from a genre that is particularly popular today. The aesthetics are not very pleasing to the retina and the music is better left muted, making the experience at best forgettable.

A decent card battler, deck building game, or whatever you wanna call this genre. It's fun but I don't feel compelled to reach the true endgame because it's kinda grindy and the enemies that constantly remove your buffs or armor at the end of each turn are absolutely despair inducing for certain builds.
edit: I went back and defeated the final boss, it wasn't as grindy as I thought, I just needed to git gud.
Also, I forgot to mention that you stack armor forever, it doesn't go away like in Slay the Spire.

this game is like if Slay the Spire was absolutely atrocious.

Comecei a jogar sem pretensão alguma, mas até que os combates são legais e as cartas são muito bem planejadas, dá para fazer uns combos bem interessantes. É um bom jogo para passar o tempo.
