Ni no Kuni is a series of role-playing games developed by Level-5. The series chiefly follows the young Oliver, and his journey to another world to save his mother and stop the beckoning evil. The games utilize several magic elements, allowing players to use magical abilities during gameplay, as well as creatures known as imajinn/familiars, which can be tamed for suitability during battle.

if you like wrath of the white witch this one is better than that
Really love the whole concept of using the book while playing and drawing the spells. Starts out very unique and cute but it sort of forgets those things later and just becomes a fairly standard rpg. Towards the end I found it a slog, both gameplay and story wise.

I think this is the first RPG game I've ever played after getting my first console (NDSiLL). I still can't understand what the magic book said, but doing the spells with the pen was pretty cool, and I love this game.
