Pepenga Pengo (ぺぺんがPENGO), sometimes just known as Pengo, is a sequel to the 1982 arcade game, Pengo. It was released for the Sega Mega Drive exclusively in Japan in 1995, and was the last first-party Sega Mega Drive game to be released in that region.

an arcade-style game that's eerily similar in structure to Bomberman. You have to defeat enemies in each stage by placing ice blocks, then kicking them into enemies. Muscle memory from Bomberman made it difficult to effectively strategize ice block placements, and the maps aren't well designed around this mechanic either. You're often not given enough space or time to set up attacks, and enemies move too fast to be reasonably targeted. It gets too cramped in the later stages, too.

tldr - Cute premise that's complete buttcheeks in execution. Don't play it
