Solid expansion, prefer the first part over this one, but it offers a decent companion, and a pretty epic ending to this plotline. The new enemy introduced here is pretty terrifying with some interesting lore, and a few characters introduced here I enjoyed as well, especially Adaryc. Solid addition to the game.

Looks, Sound and Gameplay
I'm not going to say much here other than I liked most of the gameplay, the visuals and the soudntrack since I covered that when I talked about WM I and the base game.

The soulbound items added here are fun to use and I like the lore behind them. I didn't see what abilities were added in this DLC so I can't say anything about them

I did find fighting the Eyeless boring at times but nothing negative other than that

Story
This is the main part of this review since to me, this is the big thing that this DLC brings to the table. I thought that WM I was lacking in story which is remedied here with an interesting story behind what happened to the Battery and worldbuilding involving more of Gods of Eora which has been one of the strongest points of Pillars's worldbuilding. The focus is on some of the gods who are mostly absent in the base game.

The final encounter was very well done. There is a boss fight there but the interesting part to me was the ink-style drawn interactive parts which seem to have a lot of choices in how the situation is resolved and the what happens later.
