An expanded game of Pokémon Ruby Version
Pokémon Emerald Version is a sister game to Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Emerald Version provided the main storyline with more depth and length, as well as making small aesthetic changes to the world and adding unique animations for each Pokémon.

Fun game
Very solid Pokémon game, I'd say it's the first one that really feels like a well put together game compared to the first two generations. Oh and the Battle Frontier absolutely rules. The one in the Gen 4 games is good too but this one feels more solid and diverse, albeit more difficult.
There's too much water. I think this game overall is balanced a bit weirdly, but the water is a big part of that. Still a great game.

This is peak Pokémon. The best entery of the series and nothing comes even close. The gameworld is beautiful, the Pokémon added to this gen are interesting and beloved. Must play!
