Pokémon Puzzle Challenge

In a rising pit of colored blocks, it's your task to continuously eliminate these tiles by switching two tiles' positions on the horizontal row. When three or more tiles link up in a up/down or left/right fashion, they disappear. Gravity kicks in and settles the rest of the tiles into the bin ? this can cause a chain reaction to occur since other blocks of the same color can fall into place next to each other. It's up to you to continuously work the bin to wipe out tiles by making combination connections and chain reactions. That's the game in a nutshell, but there are several modes of play that'll keep your fingers busy. In the game's Challenge mode, for example, you're up against a computer opponent and you'll have to make combos and chain reactions to send garbage blocks to his unseen screen -- but keep in mind your opponent's doing the same to you.

It’s puzzle league. If you wanna play some puzzle league, you can play some puzzle league. Very curious to me how this series is almost always localized in the west with some other franchise attached. Clearly people like it, I don’t get the hesitancy. N64 version better.

It’s Panel de Pon AKA Tetris Attack with a Gen 2 Pokémon skin. What more could you possibly want out of a video game?

Cute but I think the could've gotten a little weirder, or far more expansive in its reach. It's still the type of game that you intent to play for ten minutes and end up giving it a couple hours.

An aggressively fine version of the Tetris Attack formula. Spritework is very cute, it has some neat little remixes of Gold/Silver themes, and it even manages to incorporate catching into its story mode to some limited extent! Unfortunately, smaller board size leads to a lot less flexibility and combo potential, the back-and-forth nature of match play is impossible on a single screen and the compromise they come up with to turn your enemy into an RPG health bar, while cute, does make the 'versus' aspect that Panel de Pon thrives off of a bit moot. The base game here is good - of course it is it's Panel de Pon - but it IS the novelty version of its console-based older brother. Jynx's defeat sprite is hilarious, though,

Ótimo joguinho que acabo jogando no período do intervalo do trabalho e antes de dormir. Fiz todas as fases e pqp! Quando chega na velocida 30 e alguns quebrado o negócio fica bizarro. Até a parte de desafios lá que já começa no 38 por aí o negócio é dificílimo. Mas é muito gostosinho de jogar. O tempo passa rápido.
