Props to Konami for providing one of the best uses of the Wiimote controller to offer a very different soccer game that broke the realm of conventional controls. Using the wiimote pointer ability really opened up the "playbook".

The unique controls in this game allowed for a lot more freedom by sending players to open spaces, passing the ball in the exact direction you wanted, etc. As an avid soccer fan, it was really fun learning the new controls and putting them to use in many creative ways. As a bonus, this game also allowed use of the regular classic control scheme but after learning and mastering the wiimote controls there is really no use playing with a conventional scheme.
