"The best flying game....just got even better. "
This entry fixes a lot of the main issues of Raiden II such as difficulty selection, adding a secondary "flashing medal" scoring system, a TLB on the Expert Course & loop conditions for Training/Novice experts, and a faster horizontally moving 2P ship. It also retains a lot of the extremely cool worldbuilding of Raiden II while having a smoother difficulty curve overall.
If you play the Playstation 1 port, its also an extremely good port for 1997 even if its not 1:1 to the arcade version.
Very highly reccomended for any classic/Toaplan shmup players.
