When you look at the early 3DS lineup you bet your ass this game was easily number one honestly

Very fun pick-up-and-go racing

It looks cheap but I kinda love the drift; feels even more arcadey than the typical RR.

I was an avid fan of the Ridge Race PSP release back in 2004, so when I realized there was a Ridge Racer game on the 3DS I had to pick it up.

While I believe that Ridge Race 3D is graphically inferior to its PSP counterpart, even though it was released 7 years later and not taking into account the 3D effect available on a 3DS console, it appears to have more game modes and replayability. I have spent several hours with both games and feel that Ridge Racer 3D is just a more enjoyable experience overall, though the announcer can get a bit tedious.

Mid time sink, only got it to fill up my 3DS with a bunch of games

I mean it's a fun time waster. It feels a bit too easy at times but overall I still enjoy it. The difficulty of the AI makes it feel like every race is just a solo time trial because I legit feel like I have to intentionally try to lose in order to not end every race in 1st place and like 300 feet in front of 2nd. Either way though, it's still solid enough, and considering I got it for the music I wasn't disappointed.

PSP Ridge Racers but easier and boring, weird entry to be honest considering the PSP ones are just better
