Running Pet is a endless runner (duh) and I don't really have the experience to say if its different from contemporaries, but it was pretty fun. I played this on YouTube Playables and the changes from the phone version is interesting.

-The phone version is like any other mobile game, it is full of ads. Ads at the top while playing, options ads to revive, optional ads to get more rewards, and I stopped once it gave me a forced ad.
-There is also insanely more stupid pop ups for battle passes and seasonal shit.
-Phone version has an in game store where you can spend real money on shit, youtube has the same store but only for stuff you can buy with in game currency (no real world money can be spent).
-The chests in the youtube version are on a 10 minute cooldown for some reason, so you can't open another chest for 10 minutes even if you got another one through gameplay. Mobile version doesn't have this.
-The youtube version has tabs that are locked out, and I saw that it still mentions a race mode (PvP). The mobile version has this race mode, but I couldn't get it in the YouTube version. This leads me to believe that PvP stuff just doesn't work on YouTube Playables.
-On the YouTube versino you can control the game with arrow keys, and on a mechanical keyboard that shit feels good. Obviously you have to swipe on phone and I think that button presses just feel better to play with.
-I think the YouTube version is also probably just an older version of the game cause the mobile one had new stuff.

It's interesting to see how games are changed for YouTube playables, cause they don't run through the play store, so a bunch of shit probably just doesnt work without it (no ads, no microtransactions, no leaderboards/PvP). Though the 10 minute chest cooldown is BAD and the lack of free battlepass rewards is annoying, the YouTube version just has to be better because of no ads. Ads are instantly vibe killing.

Anyways besides my interest in the YouTube playable thing, the game is fine. It's an endless runner.
