Play as Shaggy or Scooby and try to defeat the Phantom Virus in Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase for PlayStation. Released to correlate with the same-titled movie, this seven-stage, multilevel adventure puts the Mystery Inc. gang in the middle of cyberspace warding off bad guys and evildoers in their attempt to locate the Phantom Virus. From a control room players can access the areas of Japan, Ancient Rome, Arctic Circle, Prehistoric Jungle, The Big City, Egypt, and an Amusement Park. Each area consists of three levels including the boss level, but initially only the Japan area can be accessed with other areas becoming available as play progresses. Each area alternates between Shaggy and Scooby as the character being controlled.

one of my favourite games as a kid that i rebought while borrowing my friend's ps3 at uni. realised i didn't have a memory card at 2am, far too late into the playthrough, and had to complete the game in one sitting. would do it again in a heartbeat

I'd like to start this review by thanking Anthony who got me this game. I will start by listing the pros:

1. Scobby is a G and crip walks on the bosses after beating them.
2. The Scobby levels weren't all abhorent.
3. Booty blastin.
4. MLG pie throwing.

And now the cons:

1. Every Shaggy level is a fucked up piece of shit garbage ass stage with horrific platforming, annoying ass enemies, or weird gimmicks like ice (fuck you Ninja Gaiden 2).
2. Shaggy.
3. The bosses all sucked except the first one who was easy af. Second one threw spears at me when I thought it was done (not cool). Three had ass ice mechanics. Four was ok, just a dino. Five was a stupid security robot guy, stupid fucking bombs, stupid fucking conveyer belts. Six was the mummy shit which wasn't toooooo bad, but it was annoying. Seven was the stupid virus ghost guy who had disgusting tracking until Jack watched the speedrun and gave me all the strats to dodge him. Dumb ass motherfucking ghost.

Here are the ratings for each stage:

1. Japan (Scobby): 4/5
2. Ancient Rome (Stoner Man): 1/5
3. The Arctic Circle (Stoner Man): 1/5
4. Prehistoric Jungle (Scobby): 3/5
5. The Big City (Stoner Man): 1/5
6. Egypt (Scobby): 2/5
7. The Amusement Park (Scobby): 2/5

Game took 2 hours to beat. Jack said I'd get second last on the speedrun leaderboard. Too easy. Fuck this game. I am not Scobby. Also, Jack called the game "Scooby-Doo Cyber Crime" which is a way better name.

Actually kinda hard, tons of fun tho
