Yes I absolutely can and will waste money building an impractical, skinny tower just to raise the number of floors.
I played this all the time at summer camp as a kid. Someone in my group told me that Santa Claus shows up in the sky and you have to click on him to get a reward, and I still don't know if that's true.
i was absolutely obsessed with this game as a kid, but for some reason every time my tower got to be a certain height people stopped buying up floor space. never could figure out why that happened. anyway excellent sim a++
