A port of Spyro the Dragon
The Japanese version of Spyro changed many gameplay-related features, most notably the camera and Spyro's speed. It also adds PocketStation compatibility.

The original Spyro is a great game, but the Japanese port has a reputation for really weird changes, so I wanted to try it. In addition to the speed and camera stuff, there's also hint signs everywhere. I assume this means the US release of Spyro was deemed too hard for Japanese gamers. Considering I've 100%ed the US version of the game several times, which is too hard for them, and they got a version of Mario 2 that was meant to be too hard for me, I no longer have any need to play Mario 2 in order to prove that I am a god gamer. Thank you, transitive property.
