A mod for Super Metroid
Super Metroid Nature is a full-sized hack of the popular game Super Metroid. The design of the world, palettes, enemies and atmosphere is entirely different to the original story of Zebes. The difficulty will resemble that of the original, but a tad harder in sections. Nature, while resembling parts of the original, is a whole different experience, with new items, rooms, and ways to play.

So far Nature has only two modes: Boring or Frustrating.
I just spent two hours wandering around brinstar because the mandatory progression path is hidden behind an indistinguishable pair of blocks identical to every other nearby block that I only found by bombing every single block in the surrounding zone, room by room, after reading that the path to Kraid is too well hidden.
Overall it felt like Super Metroid with poorer map flow.
Reaching Ridley was ... interesting. The escape timer is arguably too tight.
