Thoughts on The Grim Reaper Who Reaped My Heart
Very short porn game about a grim reaper who looks like a cute girl ending up being next door to you. Takes a little too long to get to the good part and the good part itself is not really all that good. Velvel’s design is really hot and works well with the pixel graphics, I also liked the fact that she’s emotionally distant clueless making smooshing booties all the kinkier but how quickly she develops feelings for the main character seems too fast and out of nowhere. Wish there was the option to also fuck her friend but I guess the game wanted to be more of a wholesome thing. Honestly ruins it for me since the romance felt cheesy and rushed with how Vel’s friend basically played cupid and the main character and Vel just went along with it. This is good for 2 nuts though so 4/10.

The writing is bad and cringy. The art and animation however, is extremely well-done. The hand-drawn 2D animation has 1000% more love and effort put into it than the stiff, uncanny movement of some of the shoddy Live2D work I've seen in some other popular horny visual novels. I know the sex scenes are the main draw here, but the sheer quality of the artwork just kinda makes me wish the story was worth anything at all.
