Miki best girl!!! Azusa was so sweet and her ending was even emotional. Chihaya's route was surprisingly dark. Skipped Ritsuko's because the gameplay was starting to become repetitive.

One of the best rhythm games on the PSP!

Deffo an interesting title in the imas series, being as it is the only first vision game on something thats not a pain in the rear to run (provided you don't have a japanese xbox 360 like most of society). Playing this after the very latest game in the series, starlit season, really showcases how different things be from the earlier titles to the later titles, yet the feeling of just barely succeeding is the same in both. You focus on one idol specifically in this one, with you meticulously planning her work schedule in order for her to meet her quotas and eventually become the top idol of idols, which is neat compared to the later games more micromanagey approach to things. The minigames to do lessons are actually really challenging and the game makes sure you are engaged in the dialog, as commus will usually involve multiple correct dialog choices in order to be accomplished. These earlier games feel a lot more dating-sim-y than idol-management-y, I guess. Anyways, this game is divided into 3 versions, and I played this one because I wanted to produce Azusa. The main villain in the game changes between versions as well and this version's villain is Miki, who is as airheaded as always. I'll probably play the other two versions, and this game even has a fan translation that's mostly done, so for once I can actually reccomend an idolmaster game to an english speaking audience, so that's cool. Haven't played it tho so not sure how decent the TL is, but I'm sure once i do a different route on a different game I'll try it out. Anyways, games neat. Play if you like idols.
