This would be 5 stars if it wasn't for Majora's Mask being really crap on here. Still, an amazing value
They're all great games! Odds are you'll mostly play Zelda 1 and Ocarina, though. Zelda 2 is hit or miss for a lot of people (although i'm a huge fan lol) and Majora's Mask port is held together with scotch tape and a prayer. A few crashes here and there can be okay, but because of how Majora's saving system works, the game suffers a lot.
I played Ocarina of Time AAAAND Majora's Mask on this. Sooo fucking good. I love these games to death. Ocarina of Time is the most impressive "Dang this game is good for it's time!" type game ever and Majora's Mask is the sickest asset reusing sequel ever. However this collection feels kinda empty without A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening, would give this five stars if they were included but this is still super good value. I mean I guess it's because they were already playable on GameCube via GameBoy player but like 3 people bought that so why not add them?
It’s a cool collection and a good way to play all these games on GameCube. But the majoras mask port isn’t very good.
I have thought about selling this, but I cannot bring myself to do it. Just so much good in this collection.
This is how I got into the Zelda series. It came with my GameCube and I found out how terrifying beamos were and how difficult it was to play the original Legend of Zelda as a kid. I really had a great time with it and it's a big reason for liking the kind of games I do.
