this game showcases how much you can do with great design even when on a small budget. first mike bithell game i played and i loved it! constantly in awe of amazing level design and fresh use of old mechanics. the story got me emotional and i love saying that about a game with rectangles as protagonists! really cool experience, playing Thomas Was Alone feels like a lesson in game making

Pretty decent puzzle platformer, showcases how simplicity can be a strong point. It tries to tell a story with some narration as well, didn't work that well for me. The soundtrack is great though.

It's okay little guy, I was alone too

Interesting concept and puzzle solving. Fun to play through, but not really a fully engaging experience for me.

Easily the best video game about squares I've played.

It tries so hard to be poetic and clever but I just found it exhausting and unfunny. It's also boring as hell and intentionally visually uninteresting. At least it's functional I guess
