An expansive fantasy world influenced by historical and traditional Japanese elements. This new franchise casts players in the role of the demon-fighting warrior, known as a Slayer. Starting from the Utakata Village headquarters where they will accept quests, players will venture out to battle monstrous and deadly Oni (demons) before they destroy all of humanity. Players can select party members from a supporting cast of characters, or join together with up to three other players through ad-hoc mode.

I got this because it was MH and I needed MH in my veins, it delivered in a lot of ways and I have good memories playing it. Didn't have the same staying power as MH itself however

Un bon Monster Hunter like mais il me semble que les combats s'éternisaient un peu, mais peut être que j'étais juste nul.

Main story clear - bloody hell, it's been a while since I finished a game! Anyway, this is great. 25 hours for the main story with a surprisingly high percentage of that being proper action. The best Monster Hunter-type game I've played yet, and the audio is amazing. The hundred crack fist when you're using the gauntlets is right up there with the best attacks in an action game ever.

Poor Monster Hunter clone. It's not complete garbage but doesn't really do anything to stand apart from Monster Hunter, so I'd rather just go play that instead.

A boring Hunter RPG that is incredibly easy, an uninteresting plot & characters, tight combat that gets repetitive, and the main gimmick making combat less engaging than it was meant to be.
