Another Hi-Rez game that sadly died. The game is still playable and with a few servers open, but it's mostly dead, with no player base. I didn't have the chance to try any PvP mode since I didn't manage to find any player in there, but I tried the game in private servers and training maps, I can see this game surely was something before its fall. This game hasn't received any updates for ages and I am sure it will be the next "Global Agenda".

I recently realized that Hi-Rez decided to remove the game from the list of the Steam store, so I am sure the servers will eventually close, sooner or later.

I loved this game, it did not get the attention it deserved and was killed by Hi-Rez well before it's time, much like Nosgoth. Rest in Piece Tribes.

In a cruel twist of fate you were here and gone too fast, but perhaps that's the way you would have wanted it. VGTG.

dead and doesn't play that well
some guns are too good at chasing (sniper rails, rapid fire stuff etc) and dont fit the idea of gameplay
ground vehicles are useless since you can ski and fly
you can fire and drive vehicles at the same time, meaning single individuals just steal them instead of carrying people through the map, tldr all vehicles are just stat boosts
a lot of useless classes
most people just go and fight the most boring battles in the middle of the map instead of progressing the game
ctf mode is fine but still untouched after decades. generators can go
Fundamentally wonderful take on shooters, it looks awkward and slow but it's a deception, it's a mix of ctf speedrunning and dramatic long range projectile shots that might or might not miss, like the longest basketball shots you'll ever see, it's up there with quake stunts and maybe a bit more tense. It only needed different devs

This is the one match-based multiplayer game I got into. The high-speed gameplay was enjoyable even for an unskilled player like myself.

Hi-Rez Studios is a terrible company. Their treatment of this game makes me wary of ever touching another GaaS title (and anything with their name on it, in particular).
