I LOVE TETRIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An improvement on Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe in pretty much every aspect: presentation, mechanics, difficulty; it's not only a refinement on an idea but one of the better puzzle games I've played in a while (and I play a lot). While I think progression can be a little slow (still better than the more cutthroat grind in SPPD), the gameplay loop is extremely addicting: you feel like you improve at strategy & reflexes with every session but there's also enough randomness to push you forward in a surprise way & keep things fresh. Love the clean design of everything with the bright simple colors and cutesy design, and even the little added elements like the trophy room or picking up random ships adds some extra spice. It'll be a while before I actually get close to finishing this (maybe the endgame levels become ridiculous in difficulty), but so far this gets close to some of my top puzzle games of all time.

an unprecedented successor to wario's woods that's honestly really fun. if you wish to play it competitively or with friends, though, keep in mind that doing some singleplayer to get unlocks is a massive advantage over someone playing with the default loadout

Enjoying this a lot so far, once I got the "pick up and throw" block mover instead of the kick I started liking the game a ton more. Haven't played with too many of the jumps but the side challenges have been fun and the core loop feels super fun. Firing sounds are a little weak and the music is slightly cloying but they're nbd. Also, the taking damage animation screenstop is a liiiiittle too long I think. Fun graphics and obstacle blocks.
