Pro Football is a 2-player American Football game played on a horizontal football field. Players take control of a 6-player team and play both offense and defense against an opposing player's team with the objective of outscoring their opponent. There are 8 offensive and 8 defensive plays to call. On offense, the player can either pass the ball or run using the quarterback to try to score a touchdown. Also available is the option to kick a field goal to score points. On defense, players can have linebackers blitz or try to defend the pass from being completed. The game can be played at four different speeds.

Certamente um jogo de futebol americano para o Fairchild. (Pra ser justo, esse até que é mais interativo que outros do sistema, sendo um jogo "de verdade", mas meu completo desconhecimento das regras desse esporte me impedem de julgá-lo adequadamente)

When booting up the game you are presented with an actual piece of music being played, nothing amazing really, but any "music" at all on the Channel F is pretty special. Im noticing a trend in Zircon published games having some sort of unique boot effect, and jumping straight into the game, ignoring the 1,2,3,4 buttons. But anyway, aside from the opening of this game, I seriously don't get it! I tried playing a few games but I just can't wrap my head around what you're actually meant to DO in this game. I move my little guys around but once the other team get their red player (player holding the ball) so far to the left, the red guy just freezes up. And if I touch him, they gain a point? And then everybody freezes. Perhaps my lack in American Football rules is the cause for this, but I doubt it, I think the game may just suck.
