The core gameplay of Wit's is very similar to the Light Cycles portion of the 1982 arcade game Tron by Bally Midway. The objective is to move your character around a rectangular play area and create a line behind you that the other player(s) will crash into. In addition to being able to move your character in the four cardinal directions, the player also has the ability to speed up and the chance to jump once per life, allowing you to potentially escape a dead end. The game can be played either solo against the computer or against up to three other human opponents. The goal is to achieve the most points, gained by surviving, or to make it through the game's increasingly difficult 99 rounds.

Have you ever played Tron? I sure haven’t but I’m aware of it. This is apparently just a clone of that game. You play as this character named “Naked Man” and you play a game where you make a trail as you move and whoever hits it dies. This is a port of an Arcade game but I only played the Famicom version against the CPU. I feel very on and off about it.

This is one of those games where I swear it would probably be fun with friends but the CPU is so inconsistent. You’ll need to fight opponents dealing with gimmicks they have like slowly swimming in water, ice physics, and even one opponent multiplying himself. What kills the game for me though is the AI isn’t smart enough to avoid dumb mistakes and it oddly gets worse the more I go through it. I also never feel like the controls work as I plan but that’s probably a me issue. There’s also a jump but it’s not as good as you think it will be but it can still help.

What’s weird is you have to win five times per opponent and the last two rounds have you on vehicles which just take a hit for you. If that’s a thing I’ll give the game is the many animations to reflect the environment and different vehicles to also fit the environment. It should also be noted you have 0 continues so getting to the Doctor won’t be easy. The doctor basically combines every ability the previous guys had and you can’t jump with zero reason given. Once it’s done, you will see the credits and maybe you can find friends to play with.

I don’t really have much to say. Nothing interesting to talk about for the graphics and music and the gameplay is pretty simple. I wish I could like the game more but sadly I just wish the AI could be better. Decent game that’s worth giving a look if it looks fun to you.

Also one of the opponents flips you off.

Did you ever watch Tron? Thought the Light Cycle scene was really cool? Well, this game is very similar to that, only with a few tweaks and one of the most abysmally bad storylines I’ve ever seen.

The gameplay itself isn’t bad; it’s actually pretty fun. Like in Tron, the goal is to get your opponent to cross either the line you leave behind when you move, or to cross over their own line. However, unlike those lame Light Cycles, you can actually jump over a line or two in this game, a maneuver that will save your ass quite frequently. The difficulty isn’t too bad, since most of your opponents will fall for the same trick over and over again, but environmental effects like the ice level can throw you off badly, since you’ll slide 3 or 4 lines over whenever you pull a corner.

Now, let me state that this game has one of the most retarded storylines I’ve ever seen in a game; a storyline so bad it makes the one from Blaster Master seem believable and brilliant. Any explanation I’ll give won’t come close to explaining it, so here it is:

“Joe was a teacher..”

“He saved a student.”

“A car hit him!”

“Dr. Wit asked him to join his Joke Army and take over the world. Joe refused and became Naked Man!”

“Now save the world!!”

Oh god, where to begin.. First of all, seeing the pictures during this intro will help, I guess.. But I have to wonder; since when does getting mangled by a car suddenly make you a candidate for some evil genius’s army? I guess that’s why it’s called the Joke Army; I know I’d think it was a joke if some guy in a full body cast came wheeling at me in a gurney groaning that he was here to kick my ass and take over the world.

But, Joe refuses, and becomes.. Naked Man? Way to go there, Dr. Wit; give the person who refuses to work for you Super Powers. Maybe he isn’t so much a genius as he is evil. At least Naked Man’s powers seem to suck really badly compared to most super heroes.

Oh, and most of the Joke Army lives up to its name, with one opponent who’s apparently a relative of the Invisible Dick Licking Clown from Citizen X.

But, if you basically ignore the story Wit’s is a pretty fun, albeit short game to kill some time with.
