100% Completed - Masha Hero quests completed, Masha LVL99, Ouroboros Rank 20 Lapidarist, Gauntlet cleared on all 3 lengths on all 3 difficulties

This is much more interesting than Wave 2, including a new, almost roguelike mode that provides an actual challenge on its harder difficulties that will require even the most experienced players to experiment with new builds. It took so long for me to clear it on the hardest difficulty

The new class was a lot of fun to play around with, since we finally got a good critical recharge playstyle again. The ability to craft accessories is neat, but the RNG aspect to what you get is pretty annoying. At least you can get items better than most of what you can find naturally.

The roguelike gauntlet mode is fun, but also tiresome and very long to do (particularly the pro gauntlet). I enjoyed the new costumes as well, definitely a step up from wave 2 and a nice throwback to previous games.

I guess after being burnt out on blade 3 going back to it wasn't the worst these new heroes are like whatever for me, because I felt the game was already bloated with too many classes and not having fun grinding for them on the characters I actually want.

funny enough its like the dlc is aware of that because you can spend the currency you unlock from challenge mode to unlock the classes, which is my preferred method due to the mode itself.

my biggest issue with xenoblade 3's gameplay is that it feels way to braindead easy, and I did not really explain why in my main review of the game, but the challenge mode and the gauntlet mode especially really give me a fun challenge.

I like the idea of just having basically a rougelike mode in my jrpg for post game and being able to use all the heroes is kinda a plus for me.

also the throwback costumes are cute, all these thoughts still apply for the wave 2 dlc for my adoring fans curious about my review for a franchise I constantly complain about

The new gauntlet mode is very fun and made it worth revisiting the game again but the new hero and other new content is very minimal. The new costumes are nice for example but overall this DLC doesn't compare to how much Xenoblade 2 got.
