fans of this game have forgotten about the actual gameplay and confuse it with cutscenes, everything from the camera angels to the combat is awkward and slow, not fun at all. shelved at chapter 9.
It holds up a whole freakin' lot, even when I played this in 2020. The combat feels great and deep, even if the visuals have aged. The story is not perfect, but kind of great by the standards of a spectacle fighter. When you find out why the devil may cry, you WILL cry too yo.

Literal peak console version of dmc 3 that makes going to prior version feel incomplete. HD remake cutscenes and textures issues aside. This is the modernized version :D
Achei o jogo bacana, tem uma história daora até, combate mt foda e o Dante e o vergil nesse jogo são mt daoras tbm. Só n curti msm algumas partes que tem backtracking mas no geral é um jogo bom.

this GAME!!! KICKS ASS DUDE!! HAHAHAH- BREAKDOWN!!!! it’s so fun and the best part is playing this on the switch with style switching and all weapons.

This game is so fucking close to being the best DMC game, but the endgame is an absolute slog until the third Vergil fight. And the Arkham fight can fucking BURN.

The only reason this doesn't get a full 5 stars is because every boss that isn't Vergil kinda sucks. Play the Switch version if you can because the weapon wheel and style change make it the best version.
Game's as good as its reputation suggests. The first third might be frustrating and hard in spots (it's weird that the first boss is maybe the second-hardest fight in the game) but climbing the initial hump and getting familiar with the mechanics is very rewarding. Glad I finally got around to this series and this game in particular.

My New Year's Resolution is to become even more of a Devil May Cry hater because I have never liked these games and I'm tired of pretending they're good.
Shitty camera, shitty control scheme, and boring enemy design. I didn't like it at the time and I don't like it now. I truly don't get what people see in this game.
I'm giving it two stars though because I do like Dante's Bollywood energy in the cutscenes.

Amazing game, easily the best one in the series.
amo muito como esse jogo transita entre cenas extremamente goofy tipo o dante montado num missil e dramas familiares. a estética é o maior atrativo do jogo, os cenarios e o design dos personagens são lindos, mas a gameplay também é muito divertida e fluida. a mídia edgy anos 2000 definitiva.

Mas nem tudo sao flores, eu achei os controles uma merda cara, e isso atrapalhou pra krl. O mapeamento e a responsividade dos controles é pessima. A esquiva e sofrivel. O final do jogo me irritou tbm, ter q enfrentar varios dos bosses de novo pra avançar, foi um saco. Nesse ponto me deu vontade de dropar, mas n dropei, segui firme. Jogo mt bom, mas pra mim tem mts problemas principalmente de controles.
Agora com relação a performance, roda legal mas tem varias quedas sem sentido onde melhor se vc abre o menu de opçoes e sai (vai entender)

Dmc 3 é simplesmente o melhor devil May cry já feito um jogo incrível pra época de fato porém por pequenos problemas ele não se torna perfeito
freestyle deixa isso aqui um outro jogo, o que ja era absurdo fica ainda mais divertido
