I'm fine with it being derivative of Portal since its a great game to use as inspiration and this game executes its concept well and the characters are charming but towards the end it really drops in quality. The robot suddenly wants to trap you in his art gallery because the robot is evil in Portal so that HAS TO HAPPEN! When it would've been far better to just go through this robot's gallery and then he lets you go, he never seemed evil and in fact seemed to have remorse at various points so I don't understand. Also the last puzzle area felt a lot weaker in terms of puzzles.
Overall good game, short and sweet but I wish the end was more like the start. Loved the river puzzle for some reason.

This game used one of Portal 2's mechanics and expanded on it into a full game. The problem is, it already felt like Portal had squeezed all potential out of the idea already. This is why Gravitas is only 1 hour long. That being said, I really enjoyed the game. The humour is nearly identical to Portal's and the short game length means that there isn't any unnecessary padding (looking at you Portal 2).
The puzzles are cleverly made with enough, but not too many mechanics. Some of the puzzles were a little bit frustrating. I was unclear on what they wanted from me which led to a lot of guessing and improvisation. I couldn't figure out how to do some puzzles which led to me cheesing most of the later ones. I do like how I was able to do that as it encourages creativity.
Overall, the game is quite a bit worse than Portal 1 and 2 however it's still a great experience. It's is literally free so I don't see any reason to not get this game. It's not like that 1GB of storage will be missed.

Everything about this free Portal-inspired gravity-altering game is excellent: the puzzles, the gameplay, the production values, the writing, the humor. The only problem is that there simply isn't enough of it: its one hour of play time will leave you wanting more and wishing this had been made into a full product at some point.
