this game is objectively mid but it's so nostalgic for me man

I have nostalgia for this one as a kid. Its an alright 3d platformer, nothing major.

korkunç zordu travma yarattı bende

Aw man I love this. way more than the second game. I loved the level design, the bosses and the way this game kept me going through and through and never burned me out (unlike Ty 2 with it's open world)

this is my SHIT.

at some point this was the only game i could play for weeks, even months
it's not great but it sure is a fun playable game

Ty... the Tas-freaking-mania tiger. I absolutely, loved this game as a kid. And I still do today... Still haven't gotten around to beating it quite yet, though.

yor man couldn't even get to the first level

This game slapped when I was a kid.

The amount of times I tried to give this game a chance...

I wanted to enjoy Ty, I really did. But it just got dull for me fast, and the collectibles started to feel too overbearing. Even the 3D platformer fan in me just couldn't do it anymore.

It's only taken me like close to 20 years to beat this game but I finally did it. All things considered, it's a solidly fun platformer with a nice soundtrack, some good levels and fun writing. It's worth a shot to anyone who enjoys 3D platformers imo. My only real complaints was the boss fights are kind of bad, and the picture frame hunt drove me insane.

A glorious piece of my childhood. This game was included on a demo disc from a magazine and I played the hell out of it. Finally being able to play the game in its entirety was a lot of fun. Only con was the repetitveness of the levels and objectives. Which was pretty par for the course for early PS2 titles. If you enjoy platformers and the Australian accent then this game is right up your alley!

Goated game, Started off with the second game but i prefer this one. I replay it all the time

Didn't age as well as I had hoped. It seems like the team blew their money and energy on the first half of the game, and the quality drops from good to mediocre around the halfway point. An average experience overall.

australian bias but this game slaps

i remember having great fun playing this as a kid, would love to play again sometime to see how much is just childhood nostalgia goggles tho. loved the characters and still have some of the phrases forever living in my head (can't read thunder egg without an australian accent)

fun platformer with boomerangs

Really fun platformer, never finished it but I really should. 6/10

The game that honed my convincing Australian accent, and my love for boomerangs. Only one of these is true.

God I loved the fuck out of this game as a kid but man am I afraid to play it now and find out if that’s still true

another generic game that felt like Crash meets Jak

Tried to give it a shot - just a generic platformer.

Talvez eu fosse uma criança burra mas sempre ficava preso nas fases sem saber o que fazer.

A very nostalgic game for me. The music and atmosphere are just so good. Even as an adult, I can't help but think of it fondly. I prefer the classic 3d platformer structure of this game to its semi-open world sequels too.

Seriously underappreciated.
Janky as all hell but a fun time to be had.
