Love the atmosphere and visuals. Teleporting wares between regions was an interesting choice, and gives the game an unusually fast pace. The combat sections get boring quickly tho.

Tried to entirely overhaul the gameplay loop of this franchise, and it's surprisingly… alright.

Unfortunately the missing multiplayer features and the poor optimization resulting in performance issues gave this game a sour aftertaste. Because content-wise I think this game can still hold up to this day with its futuristic vibe and complex supply chain management. I might even pick it up again for a couple hours in the near future.

They have experimented a lot in Anno 2205 and they have done a great job on expanding the futuristic part of the series. Now we need a prehistoric Anno, which would be an interesting thing to see.
