The very strange and detailed world from the first game carries over, and while it feels a bit more streamlined than the first game, the minigames don't amount to much, and the overarching plot with the Koshan Corporation is pretty standard cyberpunk fare. All in all, it just wasn't enough of an improvement three years after the first game to be more than a thematic curiosity for fans of cyberpunk.
