As mentioned in my core review, the awkward hamfisting of this DLC into the main campaign of the game in the Game of the Year Edition slows the pacing down without adding anything of value to the experience other than slightly developing Catwoman as a character and filling a tiny gap in the story. Catwoman, much like the other alternate playable characters, suffers from being too underdeveloped, underpowered and not fun to play compared to Batman.
Just realised I completely forgot to review this after I beat City so just shoehorning it in now lol.
Catwoman is a great part of City and her dynamic with Batman is great. Provides a nice change of pace from the main story and gives more screentime to Ivy and Two-Face which is always great. Getting to free roam as her is also pretty fun, wish we could do that with the DLC characters in Arkham Knight.

Me after watching the most gut wrenching and enticing cutscene of all time where batman is on the verge of death: oh look is cat woman hanging out, that sure doesn’t kill the pacing.
The dlc itself is fine. The story is barebones but perfectly enjoyable. And the gameplay is great. But that’s because it’s city, catwoman herself has meh variety and moves. It’s cool and cause the dlc is short it doesn’t bother me, but free roam after is bad.
The reason this isn’t 8/10 though is where it’s placed in the story. Every time there’s an incredible, shocking cliffhanger cutscene you cut to a meh catwoman level and it kills the pacing and my enjoyment of the masterpiece that is Arkham city. If rocksteady placed the levels around better… or just didn’t even include them, I’d honestly prefer the game, and that’s not something you want to say about dlc.
It’s good by itself but harms city
