A more arcade-y version of the first game! Good multiplayer fun.

Silly game. Was still fun and was cool that it had unlockables and Easter eggs :) some levels were fun to just run around in. I never figured out how to get all the nukes I could find - or if there was much purpose to the game other than "finish as fast as possible", but overall it was a quick playthrough and still enjoyable!

One of my older brother's favorite games growing up. We played through the co-op campaign as adults and some versus modes. Found the story to be pretty bad and boring, although funny in one part where you save floating pngs of kids that are just so out of place. Vs is the saving grace, because several of the tanks, like the flippy tank and the hover tank, are incredibly fun to try and get better to use when fighting each other. Worth the time playing but not worth more unless I have gamer friends over.

I swear this game gets better every time I play it. It's fast paced, full of action and has a variety of tanks that the first game didn't have. Lots of destruction, runs great, controls great. I don't know what else I can say other than to praise it. Great campaign (which you can coop with a friend!) and four player competitive multiplayer. Tons of replay value, seriously check this one out. 100% the best third party N64 game.

Rented this approximately 5x from Blockbuster

Fucking loved Tokyo Wars whenever I had a chance to play it in arcades, so being able to snatch a taste of that and bring it home was a really good time.

I literally have the World Record in one of it's Speedrunning categories so you could say it's pretty good

The Playstation version is more like an enhanced version of the N64 game, rather than a straight port.
Theres more levels, more tanks and a new soundtrack. I love how it takes advantage of the dualshock controller, but performance issues hold this one back unfortunately. Regardless of which version you choose, you'll have a great experience with either.

Much better than the first, and the Flip-E-Tank is one of the most fun things to use in any video game.
