Typical platformer with solid visuals and sound.

Realmente, REALMENTE, prefiero el bootleg que venía en la poli station, el diseño del fantasma era más bonito y la música no se sentía tan rara.

[Review of Obake no Q-tarō: WanWan Panic (1985)]

The game has a concept that is not necessarily uninteresting, as it revolves around a stamina bar that must be filled by gathering food. However, the entropy rate of this bar is far too fast and often leads to premature death. This is not helped by barking dogs whose attacks target the character, after he has chosen to jump or not. On the other hand, the barking range is greater than the range of our character's attacks. The lack of nuances for the jump makes it even more complex. This is a stodgy title, showing no lucidity in its game-design: perhaps a good representative of the early NES. It should be noted that the US version removes all references to the original manga, to the point where the public did not understand the narrative elements of this title.

Not awful but nothing special
