A cross between Star Raiders and Scramble could theoretically work fine, but not with this utterly dull execution. Also the blatant Star Wars imperial shuttle rip-offs don't do it any favors.

Interesting hybrid of a space combat sim and horizontal SHMUP, but the combat sim portion has really sluggish controls and the SHMUP portion is brutal
