These guys are both certified strikers so we’re gonna see some kickboxing in the octagon ton—OH Spinning back fist outta nowhere. What a, what a strike. He might be out. Get in there and fini—OH look at those beautiful leg kicks

Can't quite remember what's the difference from other UFCs but it sure is a solid one, can see myself enjoy it or play sometimes against friends. Altho' didn't go for the plat, leaving it for later, we'll just have to see.

It's surprisingly fun to create your own bizarre character and play against a friend.
Two ugly ass mfs beating the shit out of each other

For being an EA sports game, surprisingly good

Not huge on this. The gameplay was alright but I got tired of it pretty quickly.

I like this game a LOT less than ufc 2. The fighting system might be kinda better? But all of the other systems are either worse, or practically not explained. Shit game.

Can't really tell the difference between this one and UFC 3. So in that regard I think I slightly prefer UFC 3 because of the nostalgia I have for that game. But besides a visual change in the UI and menu, I can't really tell them apart. Same story for both games, I used to like it a lot more, but nowadays it's fun to get in a couple games every so often. Should try to play it more often see if I can't get back into it like I used to be.

game feels very similar to previous UFC 3 with a few graphics updates(still looks bad by todays standards). the regular fight modes are fun but certain things in the game just kinda suck, like the submissions i feel like they need to re work the way submission offense vs defense works. The career mode is my favorite mode of any UFC game and it is primarily basing this review off of. they do get a few things right here like climbing the ranks, managing fight offers, learning new moves, and creating rivalries with other fighters. My biggest problem with the career mode is that you can not simulate the training so you end up doing 10-15 minutes of training before you can fight and this is every single fight and it gets very repetitive and annoying. overall though it is a pretty fun game id probably say dont spend over 20$ on this game

The most recent EA installment of UFC games is actually satisfying! While it still preserves realsitic elements of mma fights, the controls are actually bearable and make sense this time! Definitely remeniscent of arcade-like controls and gameplay that I missed from WWE 2k14 some 8 years ago.

The game is actually pretty easy. My first career playthrough I swept my division and completely dominated in my championship reign. I was able to put it on a harder difficulty and was still fairly challenged alongside still being an unstoppable force, which was EXACTLY what I wanted in this game!

Fun but one of the worst game covers i have ever seen

Ko's were weird. Cool to see a lot of fighters from Kimbo Slice to Tyson Fury.

Got my ass beat in the qrts. Not as fun as more arcade-y fighters.

Kinda fun, just not my thing.

so fun. Atti if youre reading this im better than you

I thought I was going to play a mediocre fighting game but I surprisingly had a lot of fun with this one, especially the whole "customize your character and learn new moves".
The gameplay is really fun and I enjoyed the idea of doing livestreams and answering to other fighters on social media.

Fighting games are not my genre, but after having UFC 4 in my list for over a year, I thought, I give it a try. And I have to say, it was much more fun, than I expected. I like the realistic approach compared to typical arcade titles like street fighter. Career Mode is also fun.

After a while, I decided to play on a harder difficulty. The opponents act much smarter and more realistic, you really have to keep your guard up and manage your stamina, or otherwise you're gonna get knocked tf out.

So far so good – the big problems though are takedowns and ground wrestling. It's almost impossible to defend against those. Once your opponent puts you on the ground, you basically can't escape. And it's not for the lack of skill. I'm doing what the instructions say, but it just doesn't work. Overall the controls on grappling, wrestling, submissions and stuff like that, are pretty bad and not fun.

Therefore the hard difficulty is just frustrating, while the normal difficulty is too easy, as you can just knock everybody out – which is fun, but where is the challenge?

All in all, UFC 4 is alright, but can get boring really fast. And I'm not mentioning the microtransactions – at least they're only for cosmetics, but still annoying.

EA has had a terrible run making UFC games. EA UFC 4 is the best of the bunch, but it's just okay. Career mode is lame especially once you face a 67 year old Daniel Cormier for the 17th time in a row. The fighting it decent but it's missed on almost everything else. Glad I got it for 20 bucks otherwise it wouldn't have been worth the money. I don't really recommend it.

Game you only play at a stoner's house only you hate every minute of it

It's actually a fun game, but the fact that they didn't even bother to playtest the hard difficulty is atrocious. If you are on the ground against hard AI, you are literally done for. It is nearly impossible to get back up.

It's okay, nothing special.

Not bad but EA still has a long ways to go.

Overall a fun game you can see it tries to sell itself as a realistic game however that isn't the case most of the time, its pretty good but it isn't everyone's cup of tea.

has a considerable evolution in relation to the previous game, mainly in the story mode.
movements have improved a little bit.

but it's still a game that gets boring fast.
