man, these ed boys make for some surprisingly decent platformers somehow

Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures is 3D platformer released for the Game Boy Advance in September 2005. The game follows the three titular Ed's as they try to scam their way to a few bucks to buy delicious jawbreakers. As an avid fan of the original cartoon that aired on Cartoon Network, I decided to give this game a chance and, surprisingly, I was not disappointed.

As far as platformers go, you could do worse than this game on the GBA. The controls are tight and responsive, the mechanics are interesting, the gameplay is fun and easy, the level designs are colorful, and the art style is a perfect representation of the cartoon source material. While the game is incredibly short, the enemy variety (basically chained up dogs, squirrels, and pigeons) is nonexistent, and the plot is shallower than the shortest Ed, Edd n Eddy cartoon ever was, it was still a fun time and provided a nice bit of nostalgia that I really enjoyed. If you enjoyed the original cartoon or are looking a short platformer to play at your leisure, give Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures a shot.

Fun short companion to the console game, feels good, it's fun and it's unexpectedly short (atleast for me) but hey it's a GBA licensed game afterall. I really like the way they utilized their talents from the GBA version and it's a fun simple time for any EEnE fan.
