THANK YOU UBISOFT FOR FEEDING ME IM SO GRATEFUL

The 2nd best Far Cry DLC, both gameplay and thematically, it adds to the lore of Vass in a pretty smart and natural way, recontextualizing FC3 for the better. I've always enjoyed Ubisoft's experimentation with all the FC DLCs, even when they don't work, but I can say with confidence, this really works.

While grinding for 100% was awful, the story itself is very good. Exploring Vaas character was awesome.

The story and setting are awesome. I had the most difficulty with this one though. I will admit I basically beat it on Mind Level 5 at round 20 but some BS happened and I couldn't retrieve my inventory so I had to cheat. Tee hee

Honestly much better than base game as this one is actually challenging and it feels nice that enemies are a bit bullet spongey compared to them dying from one shot to the head regardless of the weapon and what difficulty you're on

I'm currently still working on this DLC but I will say there are things I like and dislike about Insanity. What I like is playing as Vaas from Far Cry 3, the island setting, the return of the main character Brody as a villain and the layout structure of the game mode. What I don't like is the system of dying and coming back and its saving system. Much like Groundhog Day, when Vaas dies he resets and while you keep weapons, upgrades and map progression, mission progress resets to square one. So any mission, safe house or weapon challenge completed will be lost when you die or try to save and leave the game. I hate the idea of completing a level in one swing, thankfully collectibles remain unaffected. It's a fun game mode once you get a groove going, but its personally not the best concept for DLC for Far Cry so far.

BTW I missed the Danny Trejo mission when it release early so I hope to play it once it comes back

Engaging story learning more about Vaas, and the mechanics start out as fun but quickly become repetitive, boring, and frustrating.

Honestly I feel like this is how Far Cry should work.

very fun !!!!!! very fun and good i enjoyed it it was just a bit. odd. for. obvious reasons.
