Also Platin... ne, lass mal.

This was a cute little DLC that setup Yuffie's character. She seems very cool and I like her. I like a character who's a little silly.

Her combat was so much fun compared to the base game. DLC suffers a lot from the same thing as base game, A lot of walking around and following people. Hurts this DLC even more because it's so short.

That cutscene at the end with Yuffie screaming and shit. awesome.

Good time, worth playing.

Can I just talk about how much of a pain in the ass this was to even download, make sure you get this game on the ps4 and upgrade! Not the ps5 unless it’s brand new!

Anyway… this is basically a bonus chapter to give the optional character Yuffie some additional backstory before her appearance in the next part of the game. She’s depicted really well, almost like a child on a sugar rush, but when things go wrong her reactions are so genuine it hurts.

The story is pretty short, and seemed to be an excuse to bring in some characters from an old FF7 Spin-off. However things move very quickly, it’s over before you know it and big moments about new characters don’t feel that impactful when I’ve only known them for about 4 hours.

The gameplay is ace though, Yuffies combat is so much fun, she’s a glass cannon, but can literally juggle enemies if played right. Her status as a ninja allows for some fun traversal, and the area design is much less drawn out than the base game, hopefully a good sign of things to come.

Before you even really play the missions, there’s a ton of side content, including a board game variation of the Fort Condor Mini game you can learn. It’s quite front loaded, as after this, it’s just a straight shot to the end.

I had a lot of fun, I didn’t wanna put it down to be honest. With side content included it’ll run you about 6 hours, which is worth the £15.. if you can actually get hold of it - 7/10

Suzie yeung as Yuffie is amazing

i love yuffie kisaragi, also that ost went hard for no reason.

Yuffie is the best. When she isn't whistling the Wutai theme, she's air-comboing the living crap out of enemies and melting them to bits. Synchronised Art-Of-War is my jam.

A short shap DLC that gave me an extra, non bloated, FF7 Remake Hit. Shoutout to Fort Condor!

It was a pretty decent DLC and had a bit of content to it

I didn't have a great time with Remake, so I was very surprised when I realized how much I was actually enjoying this Yuffie focused DLC. It fixes pretty much every single issue I had with the main game! Pacing is improved, the story feels more focused, and Yuffie's moveset is just so much fun. Even movement outside of combat felt greatly improved, and destroying chests with throwable shurikens was satisfying all the way through.

I didn't mind the removal of controllable party members, mostly because I didn't really enjoy playing as them anyway. Yuffie having a broad range of melee and ranged options from the start felt great, and only having one companion made the battles much easier to read, as the abundance of particle effects became a thing of the past.

Even though the DLC isn't overly long, it still managed to make me fall in love with Yuffie and her companion Sonon. Don't get me wrong, Cloud is a great character, but after 20 hours of him grunting, shrugging and acting disinterested I was happy to play as the more cheerful Yuffie. I even got pretty emotional towards the end, something the main game didn't really accomplish outside of one or two scenes. The soundtrack is incredible too and felt much more varied in terms of genre than the OST of the main game did, excellently complementing Yuffie's personality.

There are also a couple of side quests, but none of them managed to really grab my attention. Other players might have a better time with the RTS Fort Condor minigame, but I found myself quickly overwhelmed and the tutorial wasn't that great. Even tho I won matches, I wasn't sure what I did right, so eventually I just stopped bothering with it.

My only other point of criticism concerns the graphics. Don't get me wrong, the DLC looks great, but texture and model quality seemed to be slightly lower than in the main game. Considering that this piece of content was never released for the PS4 version of the game, I kept looking for areas or setpieces that graphically set Episode Intermission apart from the main game, and I just couldn't find anything that'd be impossible on the older generation. Even though I only played Remake on the PS5, this release strategy felt scummy to me.

So take everything good I said about Remake, make it shorter and remove the pacing issues, and you get INTERmission.
Yuffie didn't have too much character in OG due to being optional, but I love how they expanded on her here. She's still definitely greedy, but she's also a good person, and her relationship and dynamic with Sonon was great. He quickly became a fav, and I loved all their moments together. They bounced off each other like rubber balls against a concrete wall, and I couldn't be happier. I think this was content completely original to Remake, so going with that thought it was fucking amazing. Like, they just absolutely know what they're doing. The story still had plenty of side content to do if I wanted, and I did do all of it except the board game, but the story doesn't dilly-dally and actually gets going a lot quicker than Remake, even though Remake starts with the iconic mission it quickly slowed down after that. INTERmission remains at a good pace the entire time, and even the short 5ish hour run time doesn't detract. It's fun, it's heartbreaking, Yuffie is fun as all hell to play as, and honestly it's my favourite part of Remake. It's honestly a perfect little DLC.

Peguei pra jogar antes do Rebirth.

Excelente forma de introduzir a Yuffie, gameplay extremamente divertida.

A side da tartaruga é legal e tem umas coisinhas irritantes e tediosas da história por ainda ter uma mão do Remake bem forte.

No geral curtinho e bom pra dar profundidade pra Yuffie antes d entrar oficialmente no Rebirth, obrigatório pra jogatina.

Got this as part of the Intergrade bundle, but decided to wait a little bit after finishing the base game to play it. Well, Rebirth ended up coming out before "a little bit" rolled around, so I figured I should run through this before jumping into that.

It's a fun little expansion. Mostly it's just more of what I liked from the base game but channeled exclusively through Yuffie, a character that I did not recruit during my playthrough of the original Final Fantasy VII. Yuffie, like the base game's party members, has strong characterization and a really fun playstyle. She mixes melee and ranged attacks in a way that makes for some fun chains, even if it does get a bit mashy at times.

I didn't totally see the point in giving a tragic backstory to a character with only three hours of screentime, but it led to a strong moment at the very end, so I suppose it's inclusion didn't hurt. Nero feels like he walked out of a completely different game, and I was a little iffy on him, but then I saw that he was voiced by Rean Schwarzer, which is hilarious, so all is forgiven.

The best part about this DLC is playing with Yuffie, it is so fun
Felt like I'm playing DMC

There's also some mini games in first chapter, they're good

and yeah.. it's a good DLC

Off the bat, exploration’s faster, and less padded feeling due to being made more for the PS5 than the PS4. Yuffie’s portrayal here is so lovable. Not only that, but she’s beyond fun to play as. For as small of a DLC as this is, it’s damn good. I enjoy the new character a lot too, but it’s kind of hard not to go “gee, I wonder what happens to him” when you realize he’s not in FF7. Nero and Weiss are as cringe as ever, but I’m happy to see them used here. I can’t wait to get to Rebirth now.

Fun little bit of extra content that seems to set up the second game pretty well. Yuffie is goofy and lovable, and super fun to control in battle. Her relationship with Sonon is impactful for the short length of this DLC. Also she's the goat of whatever that Midgar version of Clash Royale is

The game is pretty much Final Fantasy VII Remake, but there is a shoehorn of some characters by the end to justify the DLC, in my opinion. Hope it pays out

Yuffie is really annoying

Holy hell, this a massive turnaround from the main game. It's gone from a tedious, overlong mess that accomplishes so much less than it's source material, to a compact, well-paced, genuinely fun adventure.

Let's start with some improvements from the base game. For one, everything just feels much faster. You get randomly stopped far less, story sequences are much tighter, even the little animations are snappier. The dungeon designs don't have much more depth than the base game dungeons, but the pace is so much better that it isn't much of an issue. I'd still like to see the environments get more complex. The combat also has some subtle improvements. For one, Yuffie has a robust moveset that gives her a ton of range. She is more fun to play as than anyone in the base game, and working alongside Sonon is a clever way to recontextualize the party-member management from base game.

Also, the side content has improved. Fort Condor is simple but fun, Box Breaker was genuinely tough and very fun. Some of the side stuff is still a bit dull.

Some issues still persist. As I said earlier, the environments could use a bit more complexity. Some enemies are obnoxious to fight, and a few attacks feel poorly telegraphed. It's also too brief to leave much of an impact, but being too short is much more tolerable than being too long.

All in all? Pretty fun. If Rebirth continues with this game's changes, it might be great (and it sorta seems like it does?). Maybe this is too optimistic, but I do think these developers care. When they don't need to make a 30 hour epic out of a prologue, they can make something good.

Yuffie is like the greatest character in all of fiction and that’s a fact.

A overall fun dlc add on to Remake. Loved Yuffie she was great and I appreciated how they had an additional epilogue to Remake in general while setting up Rebirth which was nice.

Yuffie is a fun quirky character who also ended up being very different, yet entertaining to play with when compared to the move sets of the OG crew in Remake. Great DLC.

Half cringe half melodrama, at least it is more condensed than Remake and makes Yuffie not so pointless

Just wanted to mess with Yuffie's mechanics before REBIRTH. Might go back when I give up on going back to get the platinum in REBIRTH.

Snappy and pretty to the point, I like it! And to talk story for a quick second, I knew going in that the likelihood of Sonon surviving this game were slim if not outright 0 but god damn I wasn't expecting the context behind his demise to be frankly terrifying. I know some people hate it but personally I think including Weiss and Nero from Dirge of Cerberus is both hilarious and something I'm glad they did! I think the FFVII compilation stuff has concepts that deserved a fair shot in actually good games and judging by the fact Nero has one of my favorite boss fights in the game as a whole, yeah I'm quite glad they gave these characters another go!
