THE best forza game together with FM4, the progression is very neat, the atmosphere is amazing and it's really fun to drive around the festival. Turn 10 nailed it with this one and then it went downhill from there (I don't know about 2 tho since I still haven't played it)

This game came up to me when I was in a "car guy" phase. And I'm glad it did. I LOVED customizing, tuning, everything. I loved making my car, MY car. This game isn't a racing game. Its an homage to the car culture that people, including myself at times, have come to love. Totally worth a play.

If the servers were still online and thriving this may be the greatest Forza of all time, but still it's the best open world racer, it personally makes me forget all about NFS MW.
This game is absolutely fun and has a incredible setting, presentation, music, game modes, varied activities, characters with incredible amounts of charisma that makes you more invested on the grind to be the Horizon Champion, a story that doesn't distract you from the racing and many more ideas that were given life in this game that didn't have to dissapear or transform in consequent games. I just can say this damned world doesn't deserve something like the first Forza Horizon, that's why online services are gone with a great part of the game now lost in time and not being re-released anytime soon.
What they can't take away from us is that it's still the best singleplayer experience from any Horizon game. Absolutely worth trying, you just need a physical copy to put it on your Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series X (YES, even if its delisted the game is still backwards compatible)

Anyone remember getting this for $15 on launch? What a nice surprise this game was when it first launched. We've been loyal Horizon fans since. It's MMO-style exploration combined with some solid track design and fun multiplayer. Made it to yellow 25 in multiplayer. Would have benefitted from better collision, and I wish the DLC was still available/not as expensive when it first dropped (while I was a broke college student).
Usually people tend to like sequels more as time goes on, I know people usually say 2 or 3 is the best (4 for me). And a lot of that has to due with more being added, simplicity making the older not as good. If anything, the simplicity in this one is what makes it 2nd best for me. After playing so much 5 and recently playing through 2-4 again, it's just nice going back to this. It's just races and showcases. There's speed traps and zones, but they're not really necessary. Only bonus boards are discounts for parts. It's just very simple and to the point. I miss that tbh.
Also I know I'm anti-corporate, but I like how this had real brands and stuff sponsoring races. Like it just made the world feel more alive. Like not having the sponsors nowadays just makes the series feel even more corporate somehow. Idk.

A sensação de competitividade desse game jamais foi repetida em seus posteriores. Um clássico!!!
Absolutely phenomenal game. Great driving model, great atmosphere, great soundtrack, great gameplay. Just a masterclass of a racing game that capitalizes on and develops every idea it presents. Graphics hold up superbly even a decade later, as does the gameplay, which I haven't seen equalled in any game I've played as of yet. Looking forward to playing the rest of the franchise if this is an indicator of what it's founded upon.

Lembro até hoje quando comprei esse jogo pro meu XBOX 360, foi uma alegria tão gostosa. O jogo era simplesmente incrível, arrisco dizer ser o melhor jogo de corrida que já joguei até hoje. A época em que essa franquia era boa, recompensadora e tinha "HISTÓRIA". Hoje em dia é triste o que a franquia se tornou. Um jogo de corrida cheio de recompensas que você não liga e não tem conteúdo algum, apenas corridas no mapa, sem nexo.
My one gripe about having converted to the Playstation is that I will no longer be able to play the Forza Horizon series, which is undoubtedly the best racing car series I've ever played. And it all started with Forza Horizon 1 for the Xbox 360. It's the smallest and less ambitious of all of them, but is such a fun entry in its own right.

Still looks good. Really wish Microsoft made it available for purchase on their store instead of having to break out the 360 disc to play. Better yet, put it on Steam please so I can make it look even more pretty on an ultra wide monitor.
