Ah, yes. I am a true gamer. I remember when the likes of such fiction popularized in 2020, but I figured I'd give it a whirl, just four years later.
FFDDAD had an actually alright story. Nothing great, but the characters felt pretty fleshed out for what they were. I mean, I'm not going in expecting work on the level of Tolkien or anything. I'm not much of a visual novel guy, but I will say, it is kind of chill just to mash the mouse clicker until my brain goes numb.
Rachael is also the best character. Sorry.
Overall, I contemplate my life choices after playing this game, and wonder how much it all truly matters in the grand scheme of humanity.
I did every route in one sitting. Why.

Why yes I will be writing a real review for this. This game has the same final boss as Persona 3.
First things first, for a game of this "genre" its surprising in its quality. Most of the characters are well written (in the context of a porn game anyway) and Emily is a pretty likeable protagonist, the game is often funny and can be quite charming. The "scenes" are also pretty good, some characters are a little weirdly drawn in them but a surprising amount of them are actually animated. It does the job, to say the least. The voice acting in it is a little amateur but the fact its in there at all is neat, and for the most part its pretty good. Some of the routes like Lindas and Clover's were really nice and had good messages, but I wish more of the routes were like that. There's a few more things that bring the game down a bit. First of all, for a VN the performance is pretty terrible. Startup can be upwards of 5+ minutes and until you're loaded into a route it can be pretty laggy. There's also a handful of audio glitches or spelling errors and the game forced me to restart my laptop on two occasions to get it to work. This isnt just because my laptop is shitty, (while thats true) its a pretty common thing noted on the steam page so that should be accounted for. While routes like Linda's and Lilly's are particularly nice some of them just feel like they got the short side of the stick with development and could of used some more work. The worst case of this is the finale, which not only is criminally short but also feels more like a hidden joke ending than a real finale, and seeing how a good amount of the game was surprisingly wholesome it was pretty disappointing for the game to end like that. I also felt like they could of exploredmore things on the erotic side but of course I only played this game for the story. I promise, I would never lie to you.
That all being said, despite some honestly laughable performance issues and a lackluster conclusion, you're not gonna be finding another game of about girls with dicks (blessed) that fits this level of quality. I had a pretty fun time with it.
