hideaki anno eat your fucking heart out

Fun little handheld fighter with wonderful art, that you can tell was developed by Wayforward cause they made the news reporter hot.

you see the thing most video games are missing is giant monsters beating the crap out of each other

think about it: you really think I'd rather play as Scrimblo Bimblo or JRPG McSwordGuy or even Visual Novelist McGee, when I could instead play as a gigantic destructive monster fueled by enraged fury that destroys everything in its path and spends their time beating the ever loving god of other destructive monsters just as if not even more powerful?! case in point, kaiju are freaking awesome. big game companies, indie devs, get on this, we got an epic untapped market right here.

anyway the game's fun. roster is pretty lacking, not much replayability, the final boss is annoying, but it's freaking Godzilla and at the end of the day that's all that matters in my book. that said the biggest problem is that Godzilla's green for some reason. what is this the Simpsons or something lol

at least they didn't make Godzilla's arms blue that would have been a huge turnoff

Awesome! GBA had lots of bangers

A hidden gem on the Game Boy Advance that's basically just King of the Monsters from SNK with Godzilla characters.

It reuses the cover art of Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee but is nothing more than a clone of King of the Monsters 2. There is also no sense of progression in the game, you start with six playable monsters but cannot unlock any more. I did enjoy playing as Mothra, though.

I did a full arcade run of this on a stream once, I don't remember a single thing about it other than the news reporter.

Unfortunately I cannot rate it any higher because Gamera, Biollante and Hedorah got relegated to background characters while lame fake bird ass Rodan gets to fly like the freaking asshole that he is.

As basic and uninvolved as can be, but I got to play Mothra and I love Mothra so I'm happy.

Mothra/10 :)

Nice and quick arcade style isometric fighter that has a short and addictive gameplay.
Oh, and the soundtrack is the home for the canceled Shantae: Risky Revolution GBA game (That's why the soundtrack is boppin'!)
