GT5 is better. This one is just too slow for my tastes.
Brings me back to the days when I bought a new PS3 and this was my first game. God I miss those days..
One of the best racing sims and a good arcade racer too.
After I finished school I plowed through this game all summer. Good memories : ]
My favorite racing game.
Much like the fourth entry, the simulation itself feels smooth, the background is vibrant, the cars themselves look slick but I wasn't able to get past the license stages by a wide margin to compete in many races. It takes a while and more so in the latter ones if my friend's gameplay is to be believed.
Basicamente é um Gran Turismo 5.5 com uma jogabilidade mais refinada, visualmente melhor e ter uma campanha mais consistente sem ter o sistema de XP. O grande problema aqui é ter lançado o jogo só para PS3 enquanto o PS4 tinha chegado no mercado, isso fez ele ser esquecido e ter muitos problemas de performance por conta do console não aguentar muito bem o jogo

Further refines Gran Turismo 5's formula, but cuts out a lot of unique aspects of the previous game (rally is relegated to a single event in the entire campaign!)

I feel a bit too like Jim Ryan to dock GT6 for having screen tearing and a shaky 1080p frame rate but thankfully the driving still feels great so it's almost not distracting.

My older brother once told me if I could beat him in a racing game, he’d pay me $10. I have never been able to surpass him to this day.
A great racing simulator, with both great graphics and car physics, in-depth car customisation, great variety of car and track selection. The Career Mode is great. They also added the new star system instead of driver level to advance to higher leagues in Career Mode. Great bonus events, but I find those in GT5 more exciting. The only thing that is a drag is the slow flow of in-game credits and the big amount of almost same cars which are slightly different only in the statistics and the year the car was made. All in all this game is the best racing simulation from Polyphony Digital so far with only some slightly issues which doesn't affect the gameplay.
Gran Turismo 6 definitely feels like the odd one out in the series. The main progress structure is very different with its star based system that I didn’t really care for, licenses and missions being thrown together with the usual races and championships. The addition of night racing was nice, and also the tribute to Senna was awesome. Content and graphics are good for the most part, however the main hub menu I found lacking and boring. The cars do sound noticeably bad too. Overall, probably my least favourite GT game.

Man. This somehow had better performance but worse screen tearing? Improve the loads times and menus but is missing a bit of that style? The artyon senna tribute is awesome and having the percentage of profit go to that institute is cool and this game has a moon short mode?!?! Which is really cool. Liscense is done easier here but structured really smartly. This game forces you to buy a Honda jazz at the beginning which kinda sucks but mm. It's odd I feel like this isn't a big of step as I would've hoped and almost could be sold as a rerelease 5. There is more cars but you'll see even more ps2 models. And there is a boatload of content and more so than the 5th entry but the overall game definitely feels the most rushed? Also the course maker is now being relegated to a phone app which is cool but requires the servers to be online which they are no longer. I felt bittersweet finishing this marathon and I had a good time. But most of me is very happy they got to spend as long as they did for 7. Good racing game but it's definitely aged the worst with 5
Pretty good racing game on the PS3 with a lot of content. I enjoyed the progression of the game as you work your way up getting more money and buying and upgrading cars that you want to race with.
It was unfortunate that I played a couple challenges in the Ayrton Senna DLC and won so much money that the game was kind of ruined for me.
