This game was genuinely one of the worst games I've played from CC2 back on its Japanese release. I replayed the latest version on the PS3 earlier this year after they announced the remaster and god time has been awful to this game. 30fps that drops framerate aggressively, shitty attacks with no hitstop, and the worst movement conceivable. The campaign mode is no longer usable so you can't even unlock the majority of the shit in it and even if you could why would you the campaign mode was abominably awful.
Just an alright turd of a fucking game. This series deserves better than Cyberconnect 2.

Before Parts 3-6 of the series were adapted as an anime, this is the first time we'd see the vast majority of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure in any sort of animated and voiced fashion. The game 300% NAILS it when it comes to fanservice and adapting the characters. Araki's ever evolving artstyle has been translated to the game perfectly, the voices for each character are perfect, and the music consists of themes for each character that suit them all extremely well.
The gameplay itself is fun but nothing amazing. While there's a large character roster, a huge chunk of it is DLC with no pass ever released, so it's expensive to have the whole roster. There's also very little stages to play in despite there being a large amount of locations in Jojo that would make for really fun arenas to fight in. It's an alright game that's carried entirely by its amazing art direction, fan service and attention to detail when adapting the game's characters.
