I love JoJo's, but this game kinda sucks, like most anime games.

Kind of a weird, but different approach to arena-fighters. Competitive wise, this game shouldn't even be considered, let alone All Star Battle. It definitely scratches the Jojo itch, but only for like 2 to 4 weeks, would also call it a honeymoon game. Despite that, the campaign was unique and integrated manga only (at the time) characters, and even gave them dependent voice actors and colorings (based off of Araki). I do think that if another Jojo game came out that wasn't a remaster 2.5 fighter and an Japan only arcade game, that it would be a hit. Last potential was maining the Jojos in Jump Force, but we don't talk about JF here

The story is alternative, the main villain, DIO, went nuts at the end and decided to gather all the main and side characters of one universe. All the combat movements of the characters are shown perfectly in quite pleasant 3D, which can only be a good thing. The plot is filler, unfortunately, but there’s no better way to come up with it in this situation. Only for fans.

Story is crap and forgettable, online is dogshit, gameplay is fine at its best but nothing amazing. It's basically a 3D Arena mod of All-Star Battle and it shows.

The story mode is abit overhyped, gameplay's abit basic aswell when compared to All Star Battle/R but it's pretty enjoyable when you get used to it
One of the largest divides in quality i have ever seen in a video game. So much love and attention to detail is poured into the ui, characters, story and references in this game, the devs very clearly love jojo and wanted to make a great game with the property. Unfortunately they failed. Gameplay sucks. Not even a little fun.

Feels like an old game and at the same time doesn’t feel like an old game. They messed something up. The maps are also really weird to play.
I honestly thought that as a fan of the series, it always felt weird that people did not like this game, like the gameplay is weird and can be awkward at times, but I will admit there are somethings I like about it, the stages have more life and detail to them, some of the characters are fun to play as like N'doul, Johnny, ect. The one thing I believe saves this game is the story mode, it feels pretty ridiculous and yet cool at the same time, much like the actual series, pretty great.
i platnium'd this game on PS4 and guess what? the platinum trophy isn't called star PLATNIUM. It's called "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure". Absolutely Outrageous!

Pretty good game. The 3d combat can be kinda weird, but you're fighting with Jojo's characters so... The story is also pretty good.
