parasaurolophus 7 needs more fresh water in its exhibit

I did not expect to love this game as much as i did but man it's just a fun and well crafted park builder with a challenging yet fun story mode

the dinosaur models are insane and i did get in a good 15 hours before getting bored. maybe get planet zoo instead if you're no fussed about dinos specifically

Fun fact: Creating vanilla Strutis is cheaper than meat dispensers. You do the math

it's no zoo tycoon: dinosaur digs

Love messing around in sandbox mode. Sadly you can only play with things after you unlock them in campaign

This is a sandbox tycoon dinosaur game. with a ton of dinosaurs to collect and manage this game can eat your hours.
Fuck deinonychus.

It was really fun for a couple hours when I first started and I got really into it. Building my little dinosaur park was a nice escape from normality and the games I usually play. I think pretty quickly it got boring but I enjoyed the est. 5 hours or so that I spent fooling around on it. Maybe someday I'll come back and play some more and see how I feel about it.

tries to be a polished jpog but lacks the heart put into the original. a direct downgrade in comparison to jpog (a then 15 year old game), especially in regards to dino AI and behavior. environments are nice tho

A good sequel to JPOG, but lacking in a lot of areas

First building simulator i ever played and i loved it.

Jurassic Park: "Nature as we know it is chaos, especially nature beyond the reaches of human knowledge, and to try to bend it to our will for the sake of personal advancement is the most fatal of hubris."

This game: "Okay so each dinosaur has seven sliders and as long as you keep those sliders in the blue nothing will ever change or go wrong, except for whatever story mode's bullshit mission system throws at you or occasionally a tornado. Have fun making a lot of money that you can't actually do anything with!"

É um tycoon de dinossauros, quem não gosta de tycoon?

i like seeing dinos eat people

extraordinarily annoying but also really fucking fun

Much better games like this out there (I'm still salty they put 80% of the content behind DLCs)

I can create a great park, make the visitors love it and then let the dinosaurs out. What more do I want?

This is a really fun sandbox game. It gets everything right in the genre while managing to be a fun time for people who are fans of dinosaurs and jurassic world/park. Jeff Goldblum even voices his character along with Bryce Dallas Howard. Everything feels very real and livley providing a fun time, however I do find myself having big hiatus' in between plays of the game.

This should have been better than it was. Quickly got boring unfortunately.

I did not expect to like this game as much as I did. I knew it was a quality game, and I like park builder and simulation games well enough. However, this game was very good.

I probably only have two big complaints about it. First, there is no way to tell exactly how large your enclosures are square footage wise. This meant a lot of adding or shrinking fences to ensure they were the optimal size for the dinosaurs. Not having this info handy or at least a grid you can activate made it difficult to plan out the park effectively.

My other complaint is the game is too easy, but also too chaotic (near the end levels). Once I got to the 3rd island, I focused on getting 5 stars on every island on campaign, which was pretty easy. However, while the last level is still easy, stuff just happens all at once it seems too often. First my gates are sabotaged and opened, then dinos got sick while fixing that, then a tornado happens and destroys fences, then the raptors and dionicuses get mad from the storm and break their fences even if the tornado wasn't near them. All of this within 2 minutes. But then you go 25 minutes with no hiccups at all. It was very bad for pacing I think.

Outside of those two complaints, the game was a blast to complete the campaign on. Sandbox was good too, but I didn't try the challenge modes or DLCs (which there are many of).

fun until the second island wish there was just one

It's no Operation Genesis, I'll tell you that much.

If you want to hear Jeff Goldblum phoning in lines that sound like they were written by a "we fed this AI the script to Jurassic Park" machine learning algorithm then maybe you'll enjoy this game.

Mediocre at best, bare bones in terms of the creativity in park design. The only good part is the dinos and even then the variety isn't super varied. No marine animals either and one flying reptile in a DLC. Dissapointing.
