I feel bad giving this game a low rating but I'd be cheating myself if I said I had a fun time... To an extent I did. The highlights were the backdrops just looking at all the fun raunchy art the artist would come up with. But the humor is not funny... And some times the dialogue is miserable. For a game the dialogue is the driving force for their game is where it lacks.
Ok, this is a tough one to rate. I would lie if I would say that I didn't have any fun. And hidden beneath the raunchy humour is a decent to good point & click adventure. The puzzles are mostly logical and you get a lot of crazy items. There are two or 3 puzzles where another object would have worked in the real world, but the game won't allow it. Unfortunately, like most of its game colleagues, Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry suffers from the "I can't do this" problem. Rarely does incorrect use give a hint as to why this should not be possible. What could be a problem for most of the players is the humour. It is nasty, it is childish and latently sexist. It feels like the game fell out of a different time. You just have to adjust to the humour and be able to take a bunch of cringes. Some jokes hurt so much that they are somehow good again. I, for my part, rolled my eyes several times. So if you want a decent adventure game and if you can handle the humour this could be something for you.
I'm not gonna lie, Leisure Suit Larry is a series of bargain bin point and clicks meant to bait horny teenagers into spending their allowance on what they thought was p00n but instead got bad corny sex jokes and extremely dated representation of LGBTQ+ characters. That being said, I love this series because of how bad it consistently is, and Wet Dreams Don't Dry is a fine game for Larry to return to public eye to.
