Once I made peace with the fact that the game was never going to outgrow its contained experience, I found that tight-knit story very thematically pleasing.
There's half of an amazing game in here, as is customary for Game Freak. A wonderfully charming town, where a boss rush occurs periodically and you solve problems with math. These dragging fights will, however, require a ton of concentration. Luckily, the game only takes a dozen hours to complete.

Lets Start with the good things: The Music, and Enemy Designs
Unfortunately... thats it. That was all the good stuff.
The story is boring, the characters are okay, and the battle system is... honestly really bad. which for a game where the battles are 99% of the gameplay makes the whole game bad.
The whole izzit, dazzit etc thing is REALLY confusing, and the RNG factor makes it worse, eapecit seeing how freaking looooooong the battles are
Had high hopes for this but was so disappointed
